I went back and forth with so many people., and even after a Mr. A settlement was reached with one of my creditors, and due to repeated negligence (failure to adhere to deadlines, failure to return phone calls, failure to follow through on assurances made by company employees and managers), the settlement deadline was missed, and the settlement went null. The company's job was to negotiate my credit card debt and assist me in clearing my credit. The first one "timed out" before actual resolution had been reached and I have been dealing with the same issue ever since. Review: This is the second complaint filed. That was being paid to citi that they never received. I would like all my fees refunded along with my funds that are being deducted out of my acct. So far I have had nothing but more heart ache and frustration then any kind of customer deserve. I can't get a straight answer from anyone. At this point I have no idea if my acct are getting paid or not. Every one needs to pay attention and stop telling me something different every time I call in. Are these stmts being falsified? I paid a large fee to have these accts settled by freedom and would like the funds refunded to me.Īnd some kind of decent customer service. Just got another letter from citi bank stating that no payments have been made. My statement show the payments are being made. I was informed that they weren't being paid. I called again asking about the settlement being paid. They responded that someone would call me back. Two weeks went by with no one contacting me once again! I called once again to find out why no one has called. And that my financial statements prove that it was being paid, and that someone would contact me from the settlement dept. I contacted Freedom about this they asked me to scan them a copy of the letter and reassuring me that they were in fact paying them. Now once again I am being contacted by another credit card informing me that freedom has not been paying the settlement amount agreed upon. We had to close out out IRA's to pay the acct. We got court papers by the sheriff official that we were being sued, due to freedom not contactING them. card was one of the accts they agreed to contact and settle. and I needed to resign the paperwork and send it in again since several months has past. I contacted Freedom about this, they told me that they never updated my acct. ![]() Causing multiple overdraft and fees on my acct. Several months went by with them continuing to draw on the 30th. I even did a follow up phone call with them. I signed paperwork and sent it back with an email confirmation that they receive it. I contacted them to change the date from the 30th to the 1st. They set up ACH out of my primary acct on the 15th, & 30th. To be deposited into a acct with them to make payments out of on my behalf. They set up an ACH out of my primary acct. ![]() ![]() I had to set up an account with them for payments for the accts. Review: Freedom was to settle 4 credit card acct.
